Within this role, you will monitor and direct the activities of assigned surgical techs in the OR to achieve optimum performance, efficiency and quality outcomes. You will also oversee the ASC’s sterile processing function. 

• Monitor and direct the activities of assigned surgical techs in the OR to achieve optimum performance, efficiency and quality outcomes
• Oversee the ASC’s sterile processing function 
• On an as need basis, you may be required to perform duties of a surgical or instrument tech to meet staffing requirements
• Assume the leadership role, with responsibility for staffing, adherence to regulatory requirements and standards
• Identify and act on process improvement opportunities
• In collaboration with the ASC Administrator and Charge Nurse, you will seek ways to eliminate errors, reduce turnaround time, maintain work flow and improve customer service.

• Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist
• Previous hands-on experience in both the OR and SPD
• Minimum of two years previous management experience focused on the OR
• Management experience in an ASC environment is preferred, but not required.  Equivalent experience in a fast-paced hospital OR experience would be considered. 
• Ophthalmology experience preferred
