We are seeking a skilled OD with experience in LASIK, ICL and refractive cataract surgery to join our well-established, high-end Las Vegas practices. This role includes validating patient candidacy, pre- and post-operative patient care, and counseling for patients considering LASIK, ICL or refractive cataract surgery. Prior work experience in a similar surgical practice or laser center is a plus.

Essential Job Duties Will Include (but not limited to):

• Patient counseling as to candidacy for surgery as well as ensuring they understand expectations, benefits and risks.
• Pre- and post-operative evaluations/management
• Interpretation of diagnostic data such as corneal topography/tomography, OCT, IOLMaster
• Some of work load will involve comprehensive eye exams and general optometry.

Job Requirements:

• OD degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Nevada optometry license.
• Prior experience in refractive surgery and cataract environments.
• Proficiency in diagnostic equipment.
• Strong communication and patient relationship skills.

Preferred:

• Prior work experience in similar surgical practice setting or laser center
• Familiarity with Ziemer G4, Optovue OCT
• Familiarity with Alcon excimer (including Contoura), Ziemer femto, and LenSx femto lasers

This will be a full time, 1099 position, that will assist in both our Cheyenne and Flamingo locations.

Base pay dependent on experience (ranging between $140k-$150k), plus lucrative bonus potential.
