The Ophthalmic Retinal Technician position includes a wide variety of responsibilities, from administering pre- and post-surgical care to performing routine patient exams and minor procedures. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional who can handle a high volume of patients as well as a variety of other tasks. Responsibilities may include assisting with in-office procedures, collecting data, and monitoring patient's health throughout their visit.

Responsibilities

  • Aid the doctor during clinic.
  • Record patients intraocular pressure, vision, and dilate
  • Prepare patient for procedure if necessary
  • Obtain OCT's (Optical Coherence Tomography)
  • Huntington Beach is EVERYDAY, Torrance is twice a WEEK, and Westminster is 2 twice a MONTH
  • Mileage compensation through company.

THIS JOB REQUIRES TRAVELING BETWEEN 3 OFFICES. HUNTINGTON BEACH, TORRANCE, AND WESTMINSTER.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience as Ophthalmology Technician is Ideal
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Desire to Provide an Exceptional Patient Experience
